During these unfortunate times USCIS is taking longer than usually to process OPT and OPT STEM application. The normal processing time usually takes anywhere between 3-6 months. However, a large number of applications have exceeded the normal waiting period.

Did you know that if you have not received a I-797 receipt notice you can contact your DSO and he/she can provide you with your case number. Also, they can prevent your record from going into completed status by taking a few simple steps.
